Tips for trips

'Un colpo di fulmine'

I have fallen in love with Parma and with the region Emilia Romagna. I am sure that  you will too reading my blog :-) !

The region Emilia Romagna will, probably, not be at the top of your bucket list but this doesn't mean you shouldn't stop by and visit the region. Indeed, at first sight Parma and surroundings have quite a lot of agricultural and industrial activities such as huge pig and cattle farms and big international companies such as Barilla, Chiesa, Parmalatte, Mutti etc. But in reality it is an overlooked area that deserves tot be explored.

Parma has a central position in Italy to discover some cultural and natural highlights. From Parma it is very easy to reach a beautiful network of historical cities, hilltop villages, ancient castles and even beaches. The sporty ones  can even go for a hike or biking tour in the Apennines.

If you want to discover places off the beaten tracks away from tourist crowds and if you are eager to visit attractive hidden gems,  in that case it will be worth visiting Parma and the region Emilia-Romagna.

In this section, I propose some nice trips. See map
